Amid the turmoil rocking Congolese football, this case will come as no surprise to insiders, given the disputes and problems that have dogged the signing of a contract for sales of the national team's shirts with Bob Richard Makandalele, founder of Max World Consulting, a sports marketing agency in the DR Congo.

Makandalele, who says he holds exclusive rights to the market, has filed a complaint against the Congolese Football Association Federation (FECOFA) because he feels he has been "cheated" by illicit points of sale of the Leopards' shirts.
It is in this context that the president of the normalisation committee, Dieudonné Sambi, was summoned by the Kinshasa/Gombe Court of Appeal on Monday 7 April.
None of the parties has commented on the matter so far.
