
Cape Verde

Cape Verde, qualified for its first World Cup, took part in the FIFA Series during the international window of March, in New Zealand. At Eden Park, in Auckland, the Requins Bleus played two games.
The first, against Chile which ended with a 4-2 defeat. Dailon Livramento and Sidny Cabral scored the goals for Cape Verde. The second match took place against Finland. Cape Verde could not do better than a draw (1-1). But the team won on penalties with two saves from goalkeeper Marcio Rosa. The latter scores points in his competition with Vozinha as goalkeeper.
Cameroon
In Australia, Cameroon played two games. The Indomitable Lions were beaten (1-0) by Australia. At the Aami Park in Melbourne, the Cameroonian selection bounced back by winning (2-0) against China. Karl Etta Eyong and Saidou Alioum Moubarak were the scorers at this meeting.
Gabon 
Gabon is not completely healed. Eliminated in the first round at the AFCON 2025 with three defeats in as many games, the Panthers showed a less relatable face during the FIFA Series.
Against Uzbekistan, qualified for the 2026 World Cup, Gabon lost 3-1. The Panthers opened the score in the 6th minute thanks to Teddy Averlant before collapsing. Against Trinidad and Tobago in the second match, the Gabonese team did not do better. They were held (2-2) before winning in the penalty shootout 3-2. At the end of the 90 minutes, Kanga Guelor (33rd) and Edlin Matouti (54th) were the Gabonese strikers.
Comoros and Namibia played in Kazakhstan
No wins for Comoros and Namibia at the FIFA Series tournament in Kazakhstan.
Comoros played two friendly matches for the first match of coach Hubert Velud. They were beaten (1-0) by host country Kazakhstan before drawing (0-0) against Namibia and winning in the penalty shootout 5-4. Namibia also lost to Kazakhstan (2-0).
Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania
Rwanda was also the host country of the FIFA Series. The Rwandan team won the competition in group A. This after two victories in as many outings. Amahoro beat (4-0) Granada and (2-0) Estonia.
Kenya, in group A, was also solid with two strong performances. After the draw (1-1) against Estonia, the Harambee Stars shattered (3-0) Granada.
Still on Rwandan soil but in group B, Tanzania began their competition with a very surprising defeat. The Taifa Stars were beaten (1-0) by the modest selection of Liechtenstein. In the second match, the Tanzanian team recovered with a large victory (6-0) over Macau.
Sierra Leone 
Sierra Leone played only one friendly match in Baku. Against the host country Azerbaijan, the Lone Stars were not afraid to play. They got a draw (1-1) before losing in the fateful penalty shootout (8-9).
