The teams through to the second round of the women's National Cup have been known since Saturday 11 March 2023. They are Stella Club d'Adjamé, Juventus Yopougon, Onze Soeurs de Gagnoa, Afan Abengourou and Inter d'Abidjan. Of all these ties, the most eagerly awaited was, unsurprisingly, the clash between Athletico and Juventus.
The top-of-the-table meeting between the current league leaders and the second-placed side lived up to the billing. In the end, runners-up Juventus beat leaders Athletico 3 goals to 2. Two sides struggling badly in the league pulled off upsets. Onze Soeurs beat Marcory (3-1) while Afan got the better of Ange FC (1-3). For the quarter-finals, the five winners are through. A sixth club will join them after losing sides are considered for reinstatement based on the fair-play criterion. All the teams taking part in this competition come from the women's D1.
