The Ivorian women's second-division football season reached its conclusion on Saturday 27 May with the D2 final between Asec Mimosas and TECO FC. The two best sides in the league's regular phase, both already promoted to the top flight, met to decide the D2 champions. Contrary to what might have been expected, Asec, who had been head and shoulders above everyone else all season, lost to TECO. Anurika Hapiness scored a brace, in the 21st and 36th minutes, to give her side the win. The Mimosas pulled one back through Amani Huviezo from the penalty spot late in the second half, but it was merely a consolation. Sekala and Bandama FC will also join Asec and TECO in the women's first division. Each of these four clubs finished top of their group.
