The extraordinary general meeting of the Ivorian Handball Federation, scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed. It was due to take place on Saturday 25 March 2023 at 9:00 at the Palais des Sports in Treichville, but secretary general Kamara Ibrahim eventually announced the opening of the session at 10:30.
After the first item on the agenda, the secretary general's roll call of delegates, only 26 of the expected 96 clubs were present. President Aboubacar Karaboué was therefore forced to postpone the extraordinary general meeting because the quorum had not been reached.
Another invitation will soon be sent to the club presidents. According to president Aboubacar Karaboué, who wants to see things move forward, the next meeting should no longer be subject to a quorum requirement.
