SNA: You have a particular history with FC Metz. What does it mean for you to be here at Metz club this season on loan?
It’s a pleasure to return here to FC Metz. It’s like home. I was somewhat trained here. I came there at the age of 17. It’s like a homecoming. I love the club, I love the infrastructure, the city and everything.
SNA: Do you want to stay permanently at FC Metz?
For the moment, I cannot decide on this. Because I have a contract with Wolverhampton. So, I don’t know.
SNA: FC Metz is the red lantern in Ligue 1. Do you believe in a maintenance?
We always believe in it. It’s football. It can change at any time. It’s up to us to fight on the field and ensure maintenance. The environment is good. It goes well in the locker room. We motivate ourselves. In any job, there are difficult and easy times. It’s up to us to get together and work hard to come back. Maintaining will be complicated but we’ll give everything.
SNA: On a personal level, you are at 3 goals in 17 matches all competitions combined. Are you satisfied with your overall performance this season?
Individual statistics do not interest me much. My goal is to give everything for the club’s maintenance in Ligue 1.
SNA: The next match in Ligue 1 is a trip to Angers this Sunday. How are you preparing for this meeting when the team is in a series of 4 matches all competitions combined without the slightest victory?
We are preparing this meeting like all the matches. We are all together. It’s up to us to train hard so we can take the three points there.
