The amounts involved during this summer window are proof: European giants did not hesitate to spend colossal sums to secure talent from the continent.

Real Madrid and Manchester City make a splash

The most striking transfer of the summer bears the signature of Real Madrid. The Casa Blanca made a resounding move on the market by making an unmatched offer for Yan Diomandé. True to its reputation as a major player in the transfer window, England was not to be outdone by Spanish offensives.
