UEFA CL: Hakimi decisive, Brahim Diaz shimmering against City, Mamadou Sarr eliminated

Achraf Hakimi decisive passer against Chelsea
PSG and Achraf Hakimi continue to defend their title. They are qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals after another great performance against Chelsea. At Stamford Bridge, the Parisians confirmed their victory (5-2) on the first leg at the Parc des Princes. They won again (3-0). The Moroccan right back delivered an assist on the second goal scored by Bradley Barcola.

Mamadou Sarr, the Senegalese international central defender, did not play the entire game. Faulty on the opening goal, he was replaced at halftime.

Brahim Diaz has dismissed Rayan Ait-Nouri
After the defeat (0-3) at the Bernabéu, Manchester City of the Algerian Rayan Ait-Nouri had a slim chance to reach the quarter-finals. With a great Brahim Diaz, impressive in the game in 69 minutes, Real Madrid was able to validate their qualification with a new success (2-1). The Merengues were able to contain the offensive assaults of the Skyblues at the Etihad Stadium.

Entering the game in the 57th minute instead of Erling Haaland and Matheus Nunes, Omar Marmoush and Antoine Semenyo could not reverse the trend. The goal gap was significant. Manchester City stopped in the round of 16.

Edmond Tapsoba and Leverkusen eliminated by Arsenal
With a 1-1 result in the first leg at BayArena, Bayer Leverkusen had little chance of qualifying on home ice against Arsenal. At the Emirates Stadium, the German club of the Burkinabe defender Edmond Tapsoba, the Algerian Ibrahim Maza and the Cameroonian Christian Kofane could not achieve the feat. They lost 2-0.

Ousmane Diomandé and the Sporting walked on FK Bodø/Glimt
Ousmane Diomandé and Sporting Portugal will play the quarter-finals. Despite a defeat (3-0) in the first leg in Norway, the Portuguese did their job in the second leg by winning by 5 goals to 0.

The Ivorian international defender came into play in the 111th minute, in extratime.

Sporting Portugal will face Arsenal in the quarter-finals.

The evening results
Sporting 5-0 Bodo Glimt

Chelsea 0-3 PSG

Manchester City 1-2 Real Madrid

Arsenal 2-0 Bayer Leverkusen
