The 19-year-old Ivorian winger has signed a seven-year contract (through to 2033) with the Merengues and is highly anticipated in Spain. While he’s already played in La Liga with Las Palmas, playing for Real Madrid is a crucial test that he must pass every time, and Diomandé will need to work twice or even three times as hard as he did at Leipzig if he wants to keep progressing.
