Ghana Premier League match day 15 wrap: kotoku Royals stuns Goldstars as Medeama humbles King Faisal

Kotoku Royals clash with Bibiani Goldstars in Ghana Premier League match day 15

Match day 15 of the betPawa Premier League witnessed a huge number of goals across the various league centers.

With the exclusive of the Greater Accra derby between Accra Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities at the Accra sports stadium and that of Samartex FC and Tamale city fc, every other game recorded at least a goal or more.

KOTOKU ROYALS 3-2 BIBIANI GOLDSTARS

Bibiani GoldStars SC fell at the hands of debutants Kotoku Royals at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in a five-goal thriller on Wednesday afternoon.

The miners who have been on some fine form in recent weeks failed to grab a point against bottom side Kotoku Royals.

Richard Dzikoe and Andy Kumi scored in the first half for the home side as they went into the break with a 2-0 lead over resilient Bibiani GoldStars SC.

In-form Ibrahim Laar scored from the spot in the 57th minute to reduce their deficit to 2-1.

Coach Eduafo's side increased their goal tally to 3 in the 72nd minute from the spot through former Asante Kotoko forward, Andy Kumi.

Abednego Tetteh who bagged a late brace in their win against Tamale City FC, scored again in the 85th minute but wasn't enough to salvage a point for coach Michael Osei's side.

BECHEM UNITED 6-2 REAL TAMALE UNITED

It was an encounter of baptismal of goals at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park in Bechem on Wednesday as the Hunters demolished Real Tamale United an eight-goal thriller.

A first half hat-trick from striker Hafiz Konkoni and a solo from Isaiah Nyarko tumbled highly spirited Real Tamale United as Bechem United went into the break with a 4-0 lead.

Mohammed Sadat pulled one back for the pride of Tamale from the penalty spot in the 69th minute.

Mustapha Fuseini added the second for the visitors in the 76th minute with the hope of fighting back to earn a point.

However, youngster Clinton Duodu netted of the quickest second half brace in the history of Ghana football in the 85th and 89th minute respectively to hand Bechem United FC a  convincing 6-2 victory over Real Tamale United.

KING FAISAL 2-3 MEDEAMA SPORTING CLUB

Medeama Sporting club bounced back from their 1-0 defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak at home over the weekend to record a 3-2 victory over Kumasi King Faisal at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.

The Insha Allah Boys took the lead in the 12th minute courtesy Abdul Latif but lost sight and conceded just  9 minutes after when Nurudeen Abdulai netted the leveler for the visitors.

Former Accra Hearts of Oak defender Vincent Atinga ushered the visitors into the lead from a spot kick in the 27th minute.

Dead-ball specialist Kwasi Donsu made it 3 for the yellow and mauve club just four minutes into the second half.

Joseph Gordon scored a beauty for King Faisal FC in the 58th minute but wasn't enough to save the day for Alhaji Karim Grunsah's side as the game ended 3-2 in favor of Medeama SC.
