Mamelodi Sundowns is still very strong in the group stage of the Champions League. The South African club has achieved a second success on the ground of Coton sports (1-3) for the account of the day. Raja has also, wide winner of Simba SC, made the full.

Mamelodi Sundowns did not shy away from Coton sports. The Brazilians of Africa on Friday night, took all three points in Cameroon (3-1). Everything was played in the first half. Mailula scored twice (10th, 43rd) and Mudau scored the other goal (11th). The South Africans are now leaders of Group B with six points, as last week they dominated Al Hilal (1-0). Mamelodi has won 11 of its last 14 group games in the CAF Champions League.

Raja stunning
Like the South African champions, Raja Casablanca is currently on a roll. A week after beating Vipers 5-0, the Moroccans went to Tanzania to beat Simba SC 3-0. The Moroccans first opened the score at the half hour of play by Hamza Khabba. Then, they managed until the last moments before extending the gap by Soufiane Benjidida (82nd) and Ismaïl Mokadem (86th, sp). They are logically in first place in Group C ahead of Horoya AC (4 pts) who brought back a point from its trip to Uganda against Vipers (0-0). The double confrontation between Raja and WAC for the 3rd and 4th day promises to be epic.

ES Tunis punishes CR Belouizdad

In Group D of the CAF Champions League, CR Belouizdad and ES Tunis, the two teams that won the first day, faced each other. The Tunisians went to surprise the Algerians (1-0). Hamdou Elhouni scored the only goal of the game five minutes from the end. Esperance is now leader (6 pts) ahead of CRB (3 pts). Zamalek and El Merreikh have one point each.

WAC and Al Ahly miss their entry

Finally, WAC and Al Ahly, exempted during the first day because they were engaged in the Club World Cup, both missed their entry into the competition. The Moroccans, defending champions, fell in Algeria to JS Kabylie (0-1). And the Egyptians also fell on the same score against the Sudanese Al Hilal.
