The Malta Guinness Ghana Women’s Premier League match day 13 has ended across all league centers. Ashtown Ladies, Pearl Pia Ladies and Supreme Ladies FC were the only sides that recorded victories in the Northern zone whiles Hasaacas Ladies and Faith Ladies picked up victories at the southern zone.
AMPEM DARKOA LADIES 2:2 FABULOUS LADIES
Ampem Darkoa Ladies came back from a 1-2 scoreline to snatch a point at the Ohene Ameyaw park in Techiman.
The Nanamma took a deserved lead in the 1st minute of the game through Ophelia Serwaah Amponsah.
However, Charity Mensah pulled parity for Fabulous Ladies FC in the 20th minute and Princess Owusu added the second for the visitors going into the break.
Mary Amponsah's 49th minute strike ensured that Ampem Darkoa Ladies earned a point at home to relegation bound Fabulous ladies.
PEARL PIA LADIES 4-2 CANDY SOCCER ACADEMY
Pearl Pia Ladies beat Candy Soccer Academy at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium to move leveled with leaders Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
The Tamale based club took an 18th minute lead through Francisca Torkudzor.
Abdul Rahaman Barikisu added the second of the day few minutes after the break.
The visitors pulled one back through Veronica Yeboah in the 55th minute.
The home-side however ensured that they go back to their 2goal lead and this time it was Bugre Memuna who had the goal in the 60th minute.
A 73rd minute strike from Georgina Aoyem Ayisha for Pearl Pia was enough to win it all for the home-side.
Belinda Samed however scored for the visitors in the 83rd minute but wasn't enough to save the day for Candy Soccer Academy.
FAITH LADIES 3-0 BERRY LADIES
It was a baptismal of goal at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman as Faith Ladies demolished Berry Ladies FC.
Jennifer Kankam Yeboah gave an early lead to Faith ladies in the 3rd minute to begin the demolishing exercise.
Maafia Nyame added the second of the day for the home-side to ensure they go to the break with a huge lead.
Emmanuella Johnson's 90th minute strike added more insult to injury as Faith Ladies FC ended with three maximum points with three goals.
HASAACAS LADIES 2-0 THUNDER QUEENS
Hasaacas Ladies beat Thunder Queens at home to end their unbeaten run.
The hasmal ladies who have gone three games without a victory, had to dig deeper to produce a spirited performance to beat struggling Thunder Queens at the Gyandu Park in Sekondi.
Veronica Kumah in the 44th minute to send coach Basigi's side into the break with the lead.
Back from recess, Linda Epo added the second for the Hasmal ladies as they ended up beating the visitors by 2-0.
The victory moves the former champions back to the summit of the table with same points as second placed Army Ladies FC.
