Africa coach Desiree Ellis has unveiled a list of 23 players for the Women's World Cup, scheduled to take place from 20 July to 20 August 2023 in Australia and New Zealand. The list is dominated by local players, notably from Mamelodi Sundowns. CF Monterrey striker Jermaine Seoposenwe will also be included. As will Thembi Kgatlana of Racing Louisville.
The reigning African champions are in Group G alongside Argentina, Italy and Sweden.
