A new Manchester United player, André Onana has reached a milestone in his career. In a video posted on his Twitter account, the Cameroon international goalkeeper expressed his delight at signing for the Red Devils."I left Cameroon in pursuit of my dreams. Resilience, fortitude and courage. These are the values that got me here. It hasn't been an easy road. It's clear to me that there's no better place to keep dreaming than the Théâtre des Rêves. Glory, glory to Manchester United," he wrote.
Trained at the Samuel Eto'o academy before joining FC Barcelona's reserves, the 27-year-old goalkeeper enjoyed a fine season with Inter Milan, which earned him a place in the final of the Champions League. Recruited from Manchester United for over 50 million euros, the former Ajax player signed a 5-year contract.
I left Cameroon in search of my dreams. Resilience, fortitude & courage. These values have helped me to get this far.
The road hasn’t been easy. It is clear to me that there is no better place to keep dreaming than in the Theatre of Dreams.
