Joel Embbid could play for the USA at the Olympics
Despite being a naturalized French citizen, Joel Embiid could skip Les Bleus for the 2024 Olympics. An American national, the Philadelphia pivot could defend the colors of the Star-Spangled Banner. The Yaoundé native has been contacted by the head of the American team for the Olympic tournament.
"I'll just give a simple answer, yes I've spoken to him," explained Grant Hill on SiriusXM radio on Thursday. He has several options. He's a great player. But he's also someone we've talked to about next summer, and we'll see. We'll see how it goes.
