Almeria have long expressed an interest in Lorient's 24-year-old Malian international Ibrahima Koné. According to Ouest France, negotiations are progressing favorably for the Spanish club. Lorient are expecting no less than 8 million euros for the player. Koné would replace his compatriot El Bilal Touré, who has joined Italian side Atalanta for 30 million euros. Ibrahima Koné scored 7 goals in 37 games last season.
