Having qualified for the next Africa Cup of Nations (January 13-February 11, 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire), South Africa have scheduled four friendlies in September and October. But also in anticipation of the first two days of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, in November (their opponents in Group C are Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Benin, Lesotho and Rwanda).
Bafana Bafana host Namibia on September 9, DR Congo on October 12 and Eswatini on October 13. They then travel to Côte d'Ivoire four days later. The host cities for these four matches have yet to be announced.
