Billal Brahimi has officially joined Stade Brestois. The 23-year-old Algerian spent one season on loan at Nice. Brahimi played 35 games in all competitions and scored 5 goals, including 2 in the Europa League. So he's a good signing for Brest.
"Stade Brestois, in search of a winger, is delighted to welcome Billal Brahimi on loan from OGC Nice until the end of the 23-24 season. The 23-year-old Franco-Algerian (1m83) is described as a powerful, technical player with a great ability to project forward. Billal Brahimi came through the Middlesbrough academy in England. Returning to Reims in 2019, he distinguished himself during the 2020-21 season at Le Mans, in the National League, where he was on loan. In La Sarthe, he scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 34 appearances. With Nice since January 2021, the left-hander has chosen Brest as his new home. Welcome to him. Billal Brahimi will take part in this Friday's session with the rest of the squad. He will wear number 21," reads the club's website.
