Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba from Burkina Faso has extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen. The defender is making a long-term commitment to Germany. His contract now runs until 2027. No doubt his release clause will increase dramatically. During the mercato, he had approached the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham this summer. These approaches ultimately came to nothing, to the delight of Xabi Alonso and Bayer fans alike.
