Benin, eliminated from the AFCON in Côte d'Ivoire (January-February 2024) by Mozambique, will play two friendly matches in Morocco during their training camp in Casablanca between October 9 and 18. Gernot Rohr's players will face Botswana on the 13th and Madagascar on the 17th. The Beninese will then begin their preparations for the first two qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in November, in South Africa and then against Lesotho. The latter match is also likely to take place on South African soil, as the Maseru stadium is not CAF-approved.
