Senegal's bid to host the 2027 African Cup of Nations has been rejected by CAF. The trio of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania was chosen to host the competition. Despite this setback, Senegal is not giving up. The country of African champions could bid to host the 2029 edition. At least, that's the wish of Augustin Senghor, present Chairman of the Senegalese Football Federation. It would be a good thing to return to the competition for 2029, but for that to happen, we need a decision from the authorities," he told APS.
