This election was marked by resounding support for Okraku's continued leadership, as he stood unopposed following the disqualification of his rival, George Afriyie.
Out of the 124 eligible delegates, an impressive 120 participated in the election. A staggering 117 delegates voted "YES" to endorse Kurt Okraku's presidency, while only three voted "NO."

During his post-election speech, President Okraku emphasized the importance of unity in advancing Ghanaian football, extending an olive branch to George Afriyie, saying, "We can only build the Ghanaian game when we stay together. Everyone has a role to play in the game, including my brother, George Afriyie. I will reach out to George and bring him back home. So, George, wherever you are, we are one."
As the newly elected council members assume their roles, Ghanaian football enthusiasts look forward to a period of continued growth and development in the sport under their guidance, led by the re-elected President, Kurt Okraku.
Despite a court injunction suspending proceedings until October 12, the elections committee proceeded to conduct the elections, further adding to the confusion surrounding the electoral process.
