Absent from the Algerian national team since September 27, 2022, Adam Ounas is back with the Fennecs. The attacking midfielder is back in form with some impressive performances for LOSC. Interviewed by the Algerian media during training, Adam Ounas expressed his delight at returning to the national team. "I'm delighted to be back in the national team after a year's absence. It's a pleasure to be back. We're now going to do everything we can to win these two games and get these qualifiers off to a good start, because our aim is to be present at the 2026 World Cup," says Adam Ounas.
Algeria will play their first two qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup against Somalia (November 16) and Mozambique (November 19).
