Injured against Guinea-Bissau (1-1) on Day 1 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Issa Kaboré has left the Bukina Faso squad. The Luton Town player has returned to England. "They (the Etalons) made the trip without right-back Issa Kaboré. The member of Lutton Town in the Premier League left his team-mates late this morning (Saturday November 18) and flew to England, where his club's doctors are waiting for him to undergo further tests", announced the Burkinabe Football Federation.
The Etalons take on the Walyas of Ethiopia on Tuesday November 21 in Saudi Arabia for the second round of qualifiers.
