Cédric Bakambu receives yet another award. This time, it's not for his work on but off the pitch. The Congolese international (46 caps, 16 goals) was awarded the Impact Award by FIFPRO for his commitment to his foundation, created in 2019. The foundation enables a number of children in the DRC to benefit from literacy programs, free medical operations, etc.
"I had to do something. I had to find a way to offer these children the same opportunities I had when I was their age," says Bakambu.
