The reputation of being a lazy player seems to have pursued Houssem Aouar at AS Roma and just as he did with Karim Benzema, another OL-trained player, José Mourinho, coach of the Italian club, didn't hesitate to poke the Algerian midfielder.
"There are many who are on the bench and come into Serie A with a good attitude, but then in the Europa League, they seem lazy and don't improve the game. Now we're off to the play-offs (to be confirmed on the final day, editor's note), which will be difficult because it'll be against a team that's come from the Champions League. I don't want to dramatize the play-offs. The real tragedy, if it exists, is the bad attitude of these players and those who came in.(...) There are players who have once again lost the opportunity to show their worth, like Aouar," the Portuguese coach told Sky Sport Italia.
