Ligue 1: Ounahi and Aubameyang give OM victory as Iliman and Wooh excluded

Olympique de Marseille rounded off the week with a home win over Rennes (2-0), following on from their Europa League victory over Ajax Amsterdam. For the 14th day of Ligue 1, the Marseille players were able to count on their African internationals.

The first of these was Senegal's Iliman Ndiaye, who won a penalty after being fouled by Cameroon defender Wooh in the 8th minute. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, author of a hat-trick in the Europa League, converted the penalty to score his 2nd Ligue 1 goal of the season.

Christopher Wooh was sent off in the 61st minute after a heavy foul on Kondogbia. Taking advantage of this numerical superiority, OM put an end to the suspense with a sumptuous goal from Moroccan Azzedine Ounahi in the 67th minute. 2 minutes later, Senegalese international Iliman Ndiaye was sent off in his turn.

With this victory, Olympique de Marseille move up to 9th place in Ligue 1.
