Francis Ngannou's successor to the UFC heavyweight title vacated by the Cameroonian, Jon Jones would have loved to face the man now signed to the PFL. The American fighter isn't giving up hope. He still wants to take on Ngannou in the cage, even if he admits that the Cameroonian is a very dangerous opponent.
"Francis Ngannou is terrifying. There's a good chance he could break my jaw. I'm at peace with that. As a fighter, I've kicked enough ass that the day someone catches me... we've all had a day like that. With Francis Ngannou, it's very simple: prepare yourself for the worst-case scenario. The worst-case scenario is that he knocks you out," Jon Jones points out.
"Once you're comfortable with the idea, it becomes easy. If I don't get knocked out, I honestly believe I'm winning this fight. All I have to do is survive the 1st round, and after that, I'm in." he adds.
