On Sunday, January 21, Ghana hosted Senegal in the second leg of their Women's U20 World Cup qualifier. After a 2-0 away win, the Ghanaians thrashed the Senegalese 5-1.Despite an opening goal from Aissatou Chris Ba (4th), the Black Princesses ran riot thanks to goals from Nyame (18th), Nyarkoh (23rd, 72nd), Twum (67th) and Abdulaï (78th). Ghana are thus the second African representatives at the U-20 World Cup, alongside Nigeria, who had already secured their ticket after seeing off Burundi.
Qualified to Colombia 2024.
