Winner of the Africa Cup of Nations with Côte d'Ivoire, Oumar Diakité made his return to Ligue 1 on Sunday February 18. On Matchday 22, Stade de Reims held RC Lens to a 1-1 draw. The Ivorian winger opened the scoring against Lens in the 41st minute, after being set up by Japan's Junya Ito. Before the break, Wesley Saïd (45th +2) scored the equaliser.
The result moved Reims (31 pts) up to 8th in the table, ahead of Olympique de Marseille (9th, 30 pts).
