2023 African champion Serge Aurier has signed for Galatasaray in the middle of the African Cup of Nations. The Côte d'Ivoire captain leaves Nottingham Forest for the English club. He will earn a salary of one million by the end of the season, when his contract expires. That's considerably less than his compatriot Wilfried Zaha's emoluments. The former Crystal Palace player, who joined Galatasaray last summer, earns 7.2 million euros a year. This is the club's 2nd-highest salary behind Argentina's Mauro Icardi (10 million). Moroccan Hakim Ziyech comes third with 5.6 million euros.
