In Kuwait (Matchday 17), a goal from Ivorian Robin Adiu earned Al-Fahalel (6th) a point at Kazma (1-1). Al Naser (4th) dominated Al Jahra (2-0) with a goal from Algerian Issad Lakja.
The most spectacular African performance in the Gulf came in Qatar (Matchday 14), where Algeria's Yacine Brahimi scored a hat-trick in Al-Gharafa's (2nd) win at Al-Duhail, the fourth goal coming from Tunisia's Ferjani Sassi, while Kenya's Michael Olunga saved the hosts' honour. Brahimi now has 17 goals to his name, taking over the Qatar Stars League scoring lead from Akram Afif (16 goals).
Last but not least, Al-Markhiya (12th) secured an important victory over Al Wakrah (2-1) thanks in particular to Moroccan striker Driss Fettouh.
