13th All-Africa Games: Emmanuella Marie Rose wins 2 gold medals for Benin

Emmanuella Marie Rose Sourou Lalaeye had a busy weekend. The 24-year-old arm wrestling specialist brought Benin two gold medals at the 13th All-Africa Games, currently taking place in Ghana. She won the 65kg category with both her left and right hands.

After 10 days of competition, these are Benin's only two medals. But they are enough to put the Beninese in 14th place, ahead of countries such as Libya (15th, 13 medals) and Senegal (16th, 14 medals), who have just one gold medal.
