Cross-country Worlds: Joshua Cheptegei and Jacob Kiplimo in Belgrade

Uganda is gearing up for the Cross-Country World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, on March 30. The East African country has selected 27 athletes for the event. The list includes stars Joshua Cheptegei and Jacob Kiplimo. Both men will be lining up in Belgrade with the aim of adding more medals to their palmares. Cheptegei, winner of several world track titles and world record holder over 5,000 m and 10,000 m, won the senior men's title in Aarhus in 2019 ahead of Kiplimo. The latter triumphed in Bathurst last year, with Cheptegei finishing third.
