The athletics events at the All-Africa Games continue in Accra, Ghana. And Cameroonian sprinter Emmanuel Eseme Alobwede lived up to his billing. He won gold in the 100m with a time of 10s14, ahead of Nigeria's Itsekiri Ushereoritse (10s23) and Namibia's Gilbert Hainuca (10s29).
In the women's race, Gambia's Gina Bass won with a time of 11s36. Liberia's Maia Alyse MCCOY (11s49) and Nigeria's Olayinka OLAJIDE (11s55) finished second and third respectively.
