Founded in 1973, the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) is an organization that manages athletics in Africa. It is under the supervision of the International Federation of Athletics, the FIAA.

The 2021 African Championships in Oran
The African Athletics Championships, originally scheduled for June 2020 in Algiers, have been postponed to June 1-5, 2021 in Oran because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
