The Senegal U20 team is in a 4-day training camp from January 3 to 6 at the technical center Jules Bocandé of Toubab Dialao. This training course is part of the preparation for the next African Cup of Nations (AFCON U20) juniors scheduled in Egypt (18 February - 12 March 2023).
To this effect, 24 Cubs have been called for this training camp. Coach Malick Daff begins his preparation with this first gathering since the victory of his team in the UFOA-A U20 tournament of 2022. In this group is the midfielder of the academy Darou Salam, Pape Daouda Diongue, the only survivor of this tournament held in Mauritania in August and September 2022. As a reminder, Senegal is housed in pool A with the host country Egypt, Mozambique and Nigeria.
