The African Nations Championship (CHAN 2023) will be held from January 13 to February 4, 2023 in Algeria. This 7th edition, shifted by one year because of Covid-19, will feature 18 teams, a great first, with three groups of four and two groups of three. After the first round of qualifying, here is the schedule for the second and final round of qualifying for this African Cup reserved for local players.
After the first round of qualifying for the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2023), which saw nations such as Senegal, Angola, or Guinea Bissau defeat their opponents, it is now time for the second and final round of these qualifiers.
And for this stage, 30 teams will be competing to try to get their ticket to the final phase of this African Cup reserved for local players.
A stage that promises duels fiercely contested, including the Senegal-Guinea derby, the clash Ghana-Nigeria or Côte d'Ivoire-Burkina Faso. See you from August 26 to 28 for the first leg and from September 2 to 4 for the return matches.
Note that Algeria (host country), Libya and Morocco are automatically qualified. Egypt and Tunisia have not registered for these qualifications.
