Away on international duty, Choupo-Moting has been crowned best player for the month f October for the Bavarians.
It is well and truly deserved! Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting produced one starring display after the other in October, and that’s now been recognised by the FC Bayern fans, who have chosen the 33-year-old striker as their Player of the Month. Choupo-Moting received a whopping 75 percent of the votes, with closest challenger Jamal Musiala – who’d won the award three months running – receiving 10 percent.
The Cameroonian really caught the eye in the last month and played a big part in Bayern bouncing back from their mini slump and embarking on an impressive winning run. The forward was directly involved in 10 goals in eight games in all competitions in October, scoring seven himself and assisting three. Choupo-Moting particularly stood out in the 5-2 DFB Cup victory at Augsburg with two goals and an assist. And he’s continued his scintillating form in November, netting four goals in as many appearances. His chances of defending his Player of the Month crown therefore look pretty good
