The Ghana Premier league Week 28 got intensed with a lot of teams dropping points when it matters the most and others grabbing all points with ease.
On Saturday, the defending league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak made a trip to Bechem to lock horns with Bechem United. Emmanuel Owusu gave the home team the lead in the 29th minute before Seidu Suraj equalized for the Phobians while Accra Great Olympics pipped struggling Berekum Chelsea 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Meanwhile, Bibiani Goldstars made their eight straight home victory in the Ghana Premier when they beat King Faisal 2-1 at the Dun's Park.
Elsewhere in Techiman, Karela had the shock of their lives as relegation-threatened Eleven Wonders came from behind to hammer them 2-1 in front of their home fans. Medeama also pipped Ashanti Gold 2-0 at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
Asante Kotoko failed to extend their lead at the top of the league table after Aduana Stars snatched a late draw after Etuoga Mbella missed two penalty kicks.
Etuoga Mbella gave the porcupine Warriors the lead with a sublime finish and managed to squander two penalty kicks to extend their lead but later got punished by Bright Adjei's late header to earn a point for Aduana.
The draw keeps Asante Kotoko lead at the top intact with nine points advantage over second placed Bechem United.
Asante Kotoko now leads Hearts Of Oak with 12points with six games at hand to end the season.
