The former captain of the senior Leopards, Youssouf Mulumbu Ngangu is at the end of his contract with FC Saint Eloi Lupopo of Lubumbashi. The player made his departure official on his social networks. The midfielder had a very good season with the Cheminots who were looking for a place in the CAF interclub competitions. The Lushois finished third in the national championship, synonymous with the qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup.

Youssouf Mulumbu was one of the major players who helped the Lubumbashi club qualify for this historic event. Via his Twitter account, the former captain of the Leopards thanked the technical staff and the fans of Lupopo who trusted him. He particularly thanked the governor of the city and coordinating president of the club, Jacques Kyabula, who counted on his ability to bring the team to this level.

After West Bromwich Albion in England and Kilmarnock in Scotland, Youssouf Mulumbu arrived in Lubumbashi as a player free of any contract. Objective achieved, Youssouf Mulumbu is now a free player. Until then, he has not yet communicated on his future.
