Africans were the most talked-about players in France (day 8) during the weekend before the international break, including Algerians Ounas and Bentaleb and Guinea-Bissau's Mama Baldé. Elsewhere, Nigeria's Boniface, Gambia's Ceesay and the Senegalese playing in Latvia have also been in the news.

In Denmark (10th day), the Tunisian Issam Jebali scored one of the two goals of Odense (8th) in Lyngby (2-0).

In Scotland (7th day), Saint-Mirren (4th) has defeated for the first time this season Celtic Glasgow (1st) with a score of 2-0, with a goal from Ghanaian Jonah Ayunga.

 

In Estonia (29th day), Paide (4th) achieved the biggest success of the European weekend by dynamizing Legion (10-0). Gambia's Bubacarr Tambedou and Mechini Gomis, who each scored twice, were part of the attacking fest. While Liberian William Jebor scored one of the four goals of Kalju (3rd) against Parnu (4-0).
