Ghana Women’s Premier League match day 9 wrap: Ridge City FC winless run continues as Faith Ladies stun Hasaacas Ladies

Match day nine of the Malta Guinness Women Premier League has ended across all league centers.
The woes of Ridge City Women FC continues as they recorded another defeat whiles Hasaacas Ladies suffered a defeat to Faith Ladies.

Elsewhere at the Northern zone, Northern Ladies FC defeated Pearl Pia Ladies with a huge margin. Ampem Darkoa Ladies continued from where they left off with a huge victory over Ashtown Ladies.

SOUTHERN ZONE

FAITH LADIES 1-0 HASAACAS LADIES FC

Faith Ladies FC handed Hasaacas Ladies their second defeat of the season on Saturday at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.

Jennifer Kankam Yeboah's 45th minute strike was enough to win it all for Faith Ladies as they strive to end Hasaacas Ladies monopoly on the southern zone of the Malta Guinness Women Premier league.

BERRY LADIES 4-1 RIDGE CITY WOMEN FC

Berry Ladies FC handed Ridge City Women yet again another humiliating defeat at the Madina Astro turf on Saturday.

Mabel Amoyaw shot Berry Ladies ahead in the 15th minute from the spot kick, but Ridge City Women FC quickly responded 9minutes later from another spot kick from Celestine Boye.

Newly signed attacker Rahama Jafar restored the lead for the home side 20minutes into the second half to set the demolishing exercise on.
Portia Sakyiwaa and Priscilla Agyemang's 73rd and 77th minute strikes ensured that Berry Ladies completed a huge victory over the debutants.

NORTHERN LADIES 4-0 PEARL PIA LADIES

Northern Ladies FC emerged victorious in the northern derby as they beat Pearl Pia Ladies at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium on Friday.

Seidu Faiza shot the home side into an early lead as early as the 5th minute with the first department of the game ending with just a goal.
Seidu Faiza was again on the scoresheet for Northern Ladies in the 82nd and 85th minute to complete her Hat trick for the day.
Grace Ntsiful sealed the victory with a 90th minute strike as they defeated Pearl Pia Ladies with a huge margin.

ASHTOWN LADIES 0-4 AMPEM DARKOA LADIES

Reigning champions of the Malta Guinness Women Premier league Ampem Darkoa Ladies recorded a huge 4-0 victory over Ashtown Ladies at the Bantama Astro Turf on Saturday afternoon.

Ophelia Serwaah Amponsah opened the flood gate with a 43rd minute goal.
Elizabeth Owusu, Mary Amponsah and Mavis Owusu were all on target for the Nanamma as they inflicted a huge victory over Ashtown Ladies.
