Morocco - D1: Wydad smiles as Berkane sinks

Wydad, two-time champions, are well on their way to a third straight title. The Red-White, winners of the Casablanca derby against Raja (2-1) on Sunday at the Mohammed V Stadium, total 14 points at the end of the 6th day of the "Botola Pro D1 inwi". With goals from Aymane El Hassouni (53rd) and the Congolese Arsène Zola (80th), they are two units ahead of AS FAR who drew at Chabab Mohammedia (1-1). The military were saved by the Cape Verdean international Diney Borges (64th) after the opening goal of Chabab by Oussama Lamlioui (37th). Raja, the defending vice champion, is 12th, eight behind its archrival.

On its part, FUS beat the bottom of the table, the Ittihad Riyadi of Tangier (IRT), on the smallest of marks thanks to Hamza Hamouri (20th). The players of the capital are 3rd in the ranking.
Very expected at the beginning of the season, RS Berkane has all the trouble of the world. The Orange conceded a draw at home against the promoted JS Salmi (1-1). Issoufou Dayo started the game with a penalty (33rd), but Moustapha Sahd, one of the men in form at the moment, equalized at the last second (93rd). Berkane (3 points) becomes the first non-relegated ahead of Olympique Club de Khouribga (2 points) and IRT (1 point). A situation that does not improve for the men of Abdelkhak Benchikha.
