Reigning champions Young Africans SC and Singida Big Stars FC picked vital points in the 2022/2023 Tanzania Premier League matches played on Monday.
Coach Nasreddine Nabi’s stopped Ruvu Shooting FC 1-0 in a match played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, while Singida Big Stars Fc also picked a similar score when they hosted Azam FC.

Young Africans SC increased their lead on the log to six points with a total of 56 points from 21 matches played. Their rivals Simba SC who beat Dodoma Jiji FC 1-0 on January 22 are second with 50 points.
Azam FC and Singida Big Stars FC are tied on 43 points, but the Ice cream makers Azam lead on a better goal difference.
Action returns on Tuesday with KMC FC facing Namungo FC, while Geita Gold FC battle Coastal Union FC.
