Uganda Premier League champions, Vipers SC are set to face Rayon Sport FC in their second international friendly match in 10 days.
Fresh from defeating hosts Young Africans Sc of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam last weekend, the Ugandan team will travel to Kigali to take on the Rwanda Premier League side at the Kigali Stadium on August 15th.
“We are very excited that the team will have another opportunity to play an international friendly match as we continue preparing for the new season and the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League,” says Vipers SC head coach Roberto Oliveira.
The coach explained that these international friendly matches are very important because they give his players good test against the best teams.
Oliveira says he was glad that his team defeated the Tanzania champions Young Africans SC 2-0 last Saturday and they will be determined to put up another good show in Rwanda.
The Vipers SC coach made it clear that he will make some changes to the team that played against Young Africans SC last weekend.
Newly signed defender Murushid Juuko is also expected to feature in the International friendly.
