Moroccan international Achraf Lazaar will discover the Portuguese championship. The player has signed a two-year contract with Portimonens, currently 5th in the Liga NOS.
According to the Portuguese media, the left-back now has a release clause of 20 million euros. The 29-year-old defender is a free agent, joining another Moroccan, former Lyon man Fahd Moufi.
Achraf Lazaar has been without a club since his time at Watford ended last May. The player has also played for Newcastle, Sheffield, Palermo, Benevento and Cosenza in the past.
