Olivier Giroud is now a player of AC Milan. The Italian club made it official this Saturday that the French striker has signed for two seasons, plus an option. The Rossoneri paid €2m to buy out the last year of his contract at Chelsea. With his new club, the world champion will wear the number 9 shirt.
On Twitter, Giroud sent his first message to Milan fans: "Hello Milan fans, I am very proud to have Italian origins and I can't wait to start this exciting adventure with you. I thank Ivan Gazidis whom I have known for a long time, Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara and Mr Pioli for the welcome. Go Milan."
