Senegal, the reigning African champion, is challenging for its continental crown at the AFCON beach soccer 2022, which will be held in Mozambique. The competition will be held from 21 to 20 October with seven teams competing. Discover the program of matches.
They were initially eight nations in the running, they will finally be only seven present in Mozambique to take part in the AFCON beach soccer 2022, after the withdrawal of Nigeria. If Senegal is the favorite of the competition and will try to retain its continental title, Egypt, Madagascar, Uganda, Morocco, Malawi and the host country will try to knock down the outgoing champions to reach the top step of the podium. The opening match will see Mozambique take on Malawi. The top two from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
