BAL 2022 : A wall named Ater Majok

US Monastirienne made a successful debut in the 2nd edition of the Basketball Africa League on Sunday night. The Tunisian club dominated Clube Ferroviário da Beira of Mozambique 77-71. The Blue and White were able to count on a great Ater Majok.

The 34-year-old inside player was dominant in both defense and attack and was the master of the floor. He compiled 19 points, 13 rebounds and above all 4 contests. Logically, he took the title of MVP of the game. During the first season of the BAL, Ater Majok had already greatly contributed to the course of the USM beaten in the final by Zamalek.

Born in Khartoum and having also the Australian nationality after he played for several years in Australia, Ater Majok defends the colors of Lebanon. He recently won the Arab Nations Basketball Cup, beating African champions Tunisia in the final. In 2011, Majok was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers (58th) but he has never played in the NBA.
